Dorking Concertgoers Society

Welcome to the 2008-09 season of concerts organised by the Dorking Concertgoers Society, presenting top-quality classical music in Mole Valley. The season has a star-studded line-up. The London Philharmonic Orchestra will play two concerts, with top conductors Marin Alsop and Rumon Gamba, the latter with an all Vaughan Williams programme in this anniversary year. The Brodsky Quartet visit Dorking three times with varied and interesting programmes. Pianist Piers Lane returns for his own solo recital which includes Chopin’s 24 Preludes. Variety to the season is provided by the cello and piano duo of Rowena Calvert and Alison Rhind, and the wind ensemble Zephyr.
